Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Product Manager to maximize value for one or more products. You will work with stakeholders to understand needs, align on priorities, and communicate the product vision and roadmap to teams, driving user adoption and timely delivery.

The role sits within Enterprise Data Protection and Privacy with emphasis on data analysis and risk mitigation. You will lead programs, coordinate across technology teams, and ensure cost and timeline alignment while

Qualifications

  • 15+ years in application or data management or test management.
  • Comfort working in dynamic, iterative environments.
  • Proven track record delivering against tactical and strategic goals.
  • Strong data quality knowledge and SQL proficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Job Description:
This job is responsible for maximizing the value for one or more products. Key responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with product managers or specialists to ensure they are aligning on priorities, communicating the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the team, and driving user adoption. Job expectations include ensuring delivery of products that meet client expectations, including features, security, availability, resiliency, timelines and costs.

Part of the Enterprise Data Protection and Privacy organization with a focus on a variety of critical efforts both supporting the Enterprise Data Management function and internal capabilities.This job is responsible for maximizing the value for one or more products/ services. Key responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand their needs and issues, and with business and technology teams to ensure they are aligning on priorities and approach using data analysis driven approaches and clear communication.Job expectations include ensuring delivery of products/ services that meet client expectations, including features, timelines and costs and issues/risks are mitigated quickly with strong transparency.

Responsibilities:

  • Generates the vision and roadmap for the product to align with strategic direction for the business or technology domain
  • Communicates the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the team, and drives user adoption
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs, problems, and aligns them on priorities
  • Prioritizes and creates work for multiple teams and works with cross-functional teams
  • Creates, prioritizes and refines stories in the product backlog
  • Reviews and accepts stories and makes decisions regarding scope and requirements
  • Partners with the team to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through subject‑matter expertise of the business
  • Deliver unified technical solution across multiple technology teams
  • Communicate key updates on approach, issues and status to a variety of stakeholders ranging from Tech Leads to Business Executives
  • Address escalations from both business, but also internal technology
  • Understand and communicate complex processes to both business and technology
  • Perform detailed data analysis to drive decisions and action
  • Lead a variety of efforts including program/ project management
  • Drive Process improvement and innovation

Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ Years in Application or Data Management or test management experience
  • Comfort working in dynamic, iterative and evolving situations
  • Proven track record of establishing and leading Programs/ Processes including history of delivering against both tactical and strategic goals
  • Strong data quality knowledge (Accuracy, completeness, timeliness dimensions, data risk mitigation, etc)
  • Strong analytical skills including excel skills (vlookup, pivot and other excel analytics features) and SQL
  • Strong oral & written communication and comfortable presenting to a wide variety of audiences
  • Embraces AI, but does not overuse
  • Comfortable leading and influencing with and without direct authority
  • Trustworthy teammate and strong collaborator
  • Resourceful/ proactive in situations when not all information is available or there is no apparent "right" answer
  • Strong focus on Risk Management
  • Capable to navigate conflict to enable productive solutions
  • Close attention to detail

Pay range

$140,000.00 - $194,400.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
