Job summary

Exostar in Herndon, VA (Hybrid—3x/week) seeks a Senior Product Owner, Supply Chain, to own backlog and roadmap for procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and visibility domains. You will define KPIs, validate requirements, and drive AI-enabled features with customers and teams.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Support to deliver releases, monitor outcomes, and ensure regulatory compliance in aerospace and defense contexts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or business analysis.
• Domain experience in manufacturing or supply chain processes such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, production visibility, or logistics.
• Experience owning a B2B SaaS or cloud application.
• A track record of delivering zero-to-one features or products.
• Experience defining and tracking KPIs for a product and using them to make prioritization decisions.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into requirements.
• Experience with Agile development and with Jira and Confluence or similar.
• Experience using AI tools in product ownership work with sound judgment about when to trust outputs.

Responsibilities

• Own the backlog and roadmap for your product area and explain trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Define and track KPIs for your area and report results to leadership.
• Translate customer and business needs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Plan sprint and release content and decide when a release is ready to ship.
• Engage with customers and suppliers to gather insights and validate priorities.
• Lead new features from problem definition through launch and testing with customers.
• Collaborate with engineering on data requirements, integration changes, and API connections.
• Plan acceptance testing and ensure release readiness documentation and training.
