Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Product Owner to manage the team backlog, prioritize work aligned to the customer roadmap, and deliver value across complex, high-impact products with minimal oversight. You will collaborate with internal teams to translate business priorities into actionable user stories and ensure alignment with the product vision.

In our Hybrid-Flex environment, you’ll balance remote work with periodic in-person collaboration at our Durham footprint, while mentoring teammates

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a product ownership or related role.
• Strong backlog management and user-story writing abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage team backlog and sprint backlog with clear priorities.
• Prioritize work aligned to the customer roadmap and business goals.
• Decompose features into stories to enable delivery by teams.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Mentor and coach staff on agile practices and product ownership.
