Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Owner for the MIS domain to lead the evolution of the Custom Aurora Platform.

You will own the product vision, maintain a prioritized backlog and deliver high-value solutions aligned with IT standards, partnering with executives and delivery teams. You will drive agile practices, mentor colleagues, and ensure platform health, acceptance criteria, and successful UAT across business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years of Product Owner and Project Management experience.
• Basic proficiency in SQL preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of ITIL practices.
• Proven ability to mentor team members and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Deep experience in Agile Scrum and delivery optimization.
• Ability to translate technical solutions into business terms and drive value.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational and collaborative abilities.
• Experience leading enterprise-level projects and influencing executives.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision and roadmap for the Custom Aurora Platform.
• Collaborate with architects, delivery teams and stakeholders to design scalable solutions.
• Author Epics, Features and Stories with acceptance criteria.
• Partner with Scrum Masters to prioritize backlog for maximum business value.
• Mentor junior team members and promote cross-functional collaboration.
• Oversee Agile Scrum delivery, sprint planning, execution and retrospectives.
• Conduct UAT with business and technology teams to validate solutions.
• Monitor platform health and drive continuous process improvements.
• Develop platform performance metrics to guide decisions.
