Job summary

Merck is seeking a Senior Specialist, Digital System Owner to own and evolve a critical enterprise platform that supports procurement, supplier management, and sourcing activities globally. Qualifications

• 5+ years owning, implementing, improving, or supporting enterprise systems or digital platforms.
• Experience as a Product Owner, Business Systems Analyst, Platform Owner, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of how systems, users, data, workflows, and business processes interact.
• Hands-on experience using data and SQL to investigate issues and support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the business owner for a key enterprise platform and its connected ecosystem.
• Build deep understanding of users and continuously improve their experience.
• Define and execute a roadmap focused on adoption, usability, and business value.
• Leverage capabilities across procurement, sourcing, contract management, supplier management, workflow automation, and analytics.
• Use data, user feedback, SQL to identify opportunities, investigate issues, and measure outcomes.
• Understand configurations, integrations, workflows, and data structures to drive improvements.
• Partner with business and tech teams to simplify processes and deliver scalable solutions.
• Continuously look for ways to increase value delivered through investments.
