Job summary

Merck seeks an experienced Product Owner for the integration platform to drive strategy, roadmap, and adoption across health sciences systems. You will lead global agile teams and partner with enterprise architects to deliver scalable, secure integrations leveraging SAP ERP, APIs, and cloud tech.

The role requires a strong track record in integration leadership, product ownership, and delivering ROI across multinational environments while aligning with regulatory standards such as HIPAA and FDA

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Sciences or Information Technology with 10 years of experience in integration leadership and product ownership.
• Experience building digital products and services with high autonomy and automation.
• Proficient with API & integration patterns and modern technologies to support these patterns.
• Experience as product owner delivering integrations with ERP and health sciences enterprise apps.
• Knowledge of SOAP & REST standards and architectures and their performance implications.
• Experience advising clients on related solutions and services.
• Experience in a global or multi-national organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specs and product features.
• Lead cross-functional global agile teams implementing platforms or solutions.
• Develop and execute integration strategy across health sciences orgs with SAP ERP.
• Act as primary product owner for the integration platform, defining vision and backlog.
• Maximize value across full lifecycle and drive ROI realization.
• Develop business cases and investment plans, monitor spend and ROI.
• Leverage Mulesoft, APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms to enhance integration capabilities.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
