Job summary

MISO is seeking a Senior Product Owner to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Energy Market Management product. You will drive modernization, simplify complex tech, and lead capabilities that improve market operations and outcomes.

You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and delivery teams to deliver customer value with a product mindset. Ideal candidates bring deep energy markets knowledge, ability to partner across stakeholders, and a track record of influencing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Six years of product management, product ownership, business analysis, systems engineering, or related experience.
• Deep energy industry knowledge and ability to build relationships across teams.
• Proven track record of defining success metrics and data-informed decisions.
• Experience applying AI tools in product management.
• Preferred certifications: CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, PMI-ACP, PO/UX or PO/Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product vision and roadmap for complex products and influence long-term strategy.
• Act as a product evangelist aligning cross-functional teams and executives around objectives.
• Develop metrics to guide strategic direction and measure success at scale.
• Lead discovery efforts, framing strategic questions and coordinating research.
• Apply financial and strategic acumen to build business cases and guide investments.
