Job summary

athenahealth is seeking a Product Operations, Senior Associate- Patient Experience to shape how Product Operations drives delivery and governance across the athenaOne portfolio, with a focus on patient experience offerings such as the patient mobile app and telehealth workflows.

Based in Belfast, ME, the role partners with product managers and cross-functional teams to improve how work moves through the lifecycle. Minimum one day per week in office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• 1-2 years in product management, product operations, or related field.
• Experience with patient engagement workflows and digital patient communication preferred.
• Experience with AI tools such as Claude, GPT, Codex, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support feature delivery from idea through GA.
• Surface risks, trends, and portfolio insights for decision-making.
• Coordinate cross-team and portfolio dependencies.
• Support alpha, beta, and release readiness for AI-enabled features.
• Analyze portfolio data to identify risks, tradeoffs, and opportunities.
