Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to help build new services and improve existing ones for internal and external customers, focused on AWS WAF and related protections.

You will partner with customers, cross‑functional teams, and engineers to define feature sets, analyze metrics, pricing, and GTM strategy, and own the product end‑to‑end in a fast‑paced environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, executive communication, and a track record delivering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
• 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager
• 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
• Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
• Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies

Responsibilities

• Define and launch new services and improve existing services for internal and external customers.
• Define customer-focused feature sets, identify bold bets, dive deep into service metrics, network analytics, pricing and bundling, and own the product overall.
• Work closely with customers, other Amazon teams, and software engineers to identify opportunities to launch new products and continually improve the AWS WAF service.
• Lead executive-level reviews and communicate strategy and progress to stakeholders.
