Job summary

Alpaca’s Trading API product team is seeking aSenior Product Manager to drive growth across our direct channel, from core Trading API products to Alpaca Connect / Marketplace. You will define and ship initiatives that deepen developer and trader engagement, expand partnerships, and grow trading volume and revenue, while collaborating with engineering, design, data, marketing, and operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, STEM, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, Trading, or building a product of your own.
Deep passion for trading, markets, and financial products.

Responsibilities

Shape the Alpaca Connect / Marketplace roadmap: onboarding, app discovery, OAuth/consent, and platform utilities.
Drive Trading API product strategy by analyzing customer needs, ROI, and market competition.
Define and own product requirements with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time.
Own product metrics via data analytics to measure success and opportunities.
Guide go-to-market strategy with marketing, sales, partnerships, and operations to drive adoption and revenue.
Drive Trading API growth by optimizing the user funnel and running experiments.
Take ownership of ad hoc projects as business needs evolve.
