Project Kuiper is Amazon's initiative to launch a constellation of low-earth orbit satellites to provide high-speed, low-latency broadband internet service globally. The team you will be joining, Global Network Transport Services group, is responsible for delivering the network capabilities and APIs that enable seamless connectivity for Kuiper customers.
Our team owns the network transit services and related network capabilities that unlock customer value across all Kuiper verticals (Government, Consumer, Enterprise). This includes services like public internet access, private cloud connectivity, on-premises customer links, and layer 2 transit. The team partners closely with Kuiper's business units to identify high-value connectivity needs and develop innovative network services to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in networking and distributed systems, as well as experience driving the strategy and execution of complex infrastructure products. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels are also essential.
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
You will work directly with customers, engineering teams, and operational stakeholders to define Kuiper service offerings via expertly crafted working backwards, business requirements documents which will be translated into product and engineering deliverables.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
