Senior Product Manager - Securities Lending (f/m/d)

As part of the CLLS Securities Lending team, the Senior Product Manager will drive the market positioning of Clearstream’s Securities Lending & Borrowing business by creating, developing, and executing new solution offerings aligned with CLLS's growth strategy and the latest global regulatory framework.

This role requires close collaboration with internal and external business partners and agility to operate in a complex securities market landscape. The candidate will design and enhance CLLS Securities Lending solutions to ensure the delivery of financial and non-financial objectives, meeting time and quality criteria.

Your responsibilities:

  1. Design, drive, and lead various strategic commercial initiatives, including solution definition and rollout, with a focus on client base expansion.
  2. Lead product and client readiness, including internal and external stakeholder communication through various marketing channels and social media.
  3. Act as a subject matter expert for the business, from positioning through sales enablement, with end-to-end responsibility to drive business results.
  4. Interact with stakeholders and service providers to build product positioning, value propositions, and messaging aligned with market requirements, emphasizing CLLS differentiation.
  5. Identify solution synergies across DBAG group companies and manage solution rollout governance, interfacing with Legal, Tax, Credit, Risk, Compliance, Accounting, and Regulatory Reporting teams.
  6. Develop and describe business concepts, enhancements, and impact analyses, including resource management.
  7. Ensure understanding of risks and regulations affecting CLLS securities lending products, assessing impacts and opportunities of regulations such as SFTR.
  8. Support Sales & Relationship Management teams and Operations by collecting feedback for product development.
  9. Maintain knowledge of market landscape, solutions, client segments, and the competitive environment; support product strategy, focusing on technological enhancements like digitalization and data.
  10. Lead internal and external stakeholder meetings and represent the product line at industry working groups.

Your profile:

  1. 10+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably in securities lending product management or related fields.
  2. Strong understanding of Capital Markets, Collateral Management, and Securities landscape.
  3. Proven ability to develop and execute solution design and delivery strategies, including positioning and go-to-market planning.
  4. Experience leading large-scale projects in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
  5. Successful track record of managing change and projects under pressure.
  6. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
  7. Strong business acumen with financial analysis skills to identify and manage opportunities.
  8. Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Access, VB, SQL.
  9. Leadership qualities and ownership mentality.
  10. Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  11. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across organizational levels.
