About The Team
The Payments and Risk team ensures timely, safe payments for our SMB clients. As Risk Product Manager, you will develop risk systems, processes, and policies to scale our payroll product, working closely with Engineers and Designers to build the roadmap, set priorities, and implement our risk stack.

Responsibilities

• Build products/services to manage fraud and credit risk, ensuring positive user experience
• Build customer trust by delivering consistent, quality experiences and optimizing risk for growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new features
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Develop product roadmap through research and understanding of business goals
• Conduct market research, measure performance, and inform improvements
• Review KPIs and drive data-driven decision-making

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Management and Risk-related work
• Experience designing risk management platforms balancing loss prevention and user experience
• Knowledge of threat detection, payment transactions, risk scoring tools and vendors
• Ability to make risk decisions with limited data
• Effective communication skills
• Experience with data analytics and AI/ML models is a plus

Compensation ranges from $153,000 to $191,000 in Denver and major metros, and $186,000 to $230,000 in SF, Seattle, NY. Final offers depend on location, experience, and other factors.

Offices in Denver, SF, NY, with remote options across the US and Canada. Specific roles specify eligible locations. Office expectations are 2-3 days/week in designated offices. Reliable internet is required for remote work.
