Within the buyer risk team, our vision is "To create a trusted marketplace on eBay by creating intuitive and scalable buyer risk experiences and capabilities that prevent fraudulent and abusive behavior while minimizing the impact on and improving the experience for genuine users." We enable this by timely fraud detection and prevention, building a next-generation risk framework, enabling users, and building trust.
You would be part of a world-class product organization where we have developed a strong product management culture over the years. You would lead the product you own to shape the strategy going forward.
You will be working on directly impacting user experience to increase transaction volume at eBay. You will partner with business units, data science, design, and engineering teams to implement technology to detect fraudulent users. As part of the larger payment organization, where we have developed the payment infrastructure from scratch over the last few years, you will dive deep into this landscape.
The pay range for this position at the start of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected to be between $178,400 - $238,200.
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include other elements, such as a target bonus and restricted stock units, along with a full range of benefits including medical, financial, and others (e.g., 401(k), PTO, parental leave). Details will be provided if an employment offer is made.
If hired, employees will be in an "at-will" position, and the company reserves the right to modify salary and other compensation at any time, based on performance, company or department performance, and market factors.
