Job summary

Hertz is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Day of Rent team to lead the strategy and delivery of self-service digital experiences that streamline the rental journey. You will define roadmaps, modernize legacy systems, and partner with engineering, design, and data science to deliver scalable, mobile-first solutions that reduce friction and boost customer satisfaction.

A Day in the Life:

As a Senior Product Manager on Hertz’s Day of Rent team, you will drive the strategy and delivery of innovative, self-service digital experiences that simplify and enhance the rental journey. Partnering with engineering, design and cross‑functional teams, you will define product roadmaps, modernize legacy systems, and deliver scalable solutions that reduce friction, improve customer satisfaction, and strengthen customer preference through seamless mobile‑first experiences.

The starting salary for this role is $150,000, commensurate with experience.

What You’ll Do

• DefineandprioritizeproductfeaturesthatwillenablethegrowthandscaleofHertz'sinitiatives,whichisoneofthemajorprioritiesofthebusiness
• Execute against long-term product roadmap, coordinating with operations, engineering, design and data science teams both domestically and internationally
• IntegrateAItoolsandfeaturesintotheproductdevelopmentprocess
• Workcloselywiththestrategy,operations,andgotomarketteamstoensurethereisaconsistentandholisticapproachfrompilottoscaledsolutions
• Communicate across constituencies: within cross-functional teams, broadly within Hertz internally and external to Hertz (customers, partners, candidates etc.,)
• Ensurethatwehaveaconsistentcustomerfocusinourresearch,planninganddecision making
• Articulateandsystematicallytestproducthypotheses
• Identifyandimplementmetricsforestimatingtheimpactofchangestotheexistingrisk managementplatformsandtools

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’sdegreerequired;MBAoradvanceddegreeinBusiness,Engineering,orarelatedfieldpreferred
• 5+ years of end-to-end product management experience, including product vision, strategy, roadmap development, prioritization, testing, release management, performance measurement, and feature enhancement
• Provenabilitytocollaborate,influence,andbuildrelationshipswithinternalandexternal stakeholdersacrossfunctions,teams,andgeographiclocations
• Strong communication, critical thinking and decision‑making skills, with the ability to see the big picture, solve complex problems, and drive results
• Adaptable and resilient in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments, maintaining a positive attitude while effectively managing change and organizational transformation
• Highly organized and self-motivated, with excellent time management, prioritization and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and goal‑oriented mindset
