Job summary

GovWorx is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the HIRE product, a mission-critical solution for public safety and emergency communications. This role owns execution, delivery, and continuous improvement, collaborating with engineering, customers, and compliance in an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in product management, with hands-on Agile experience, backlog leadership, and success delivering complex, regulated software.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of product management or related leadership experience.
• Experience owning complex, customer-facing software from discovery to delivery.
• Hands-on Agile/Scrum experience with Product Manager duties when needed.
• Backlog prioritization, release planning, and sprint ceremonies with velocity.
• Experience leading customer implementations and pilots in production.
• Ability to define, monitor KPIs and guide roadmaps with data.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments (CJIS, SOC 2, FEDRAMP, HIPAA).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive level.
• Must pass FBI fingerprint and background check in multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Drive Agile / Scrum Execution — act as Product Manager with a prioritized backlog and ceremonies.
• Plan & Track Project Timelines — build release plans, manage dependencies, surface risks with mitigations.
• Lead Customer Implementations & Feedback Loops — orchestrate pilots, training, iterate features from feedback.
• Champion Data-Driven Decision Making — define KPIs, instrument analytics, adjust roadmap by outcomes.
• Ensure Compliance & Security Alignment — collaborate with security and infra to stay CJIS/SOC 2 compliant.
• Collaborate on Go-to-Market & Support Enablement — provide product expertise for marketing, sales, and collateral.
• Foster a High-Performance Team Culture — promote communication, celebrate wins, improve predictability.
