Job summary

Ad Hoc LLC is seeking a Product Manager III to lead cross-functional teams in delivering user-centered digital products for government clients. This remote role drives product strategy, backlog ownership, and collaboration across engineering, design, research, and delivery to achieve measurable outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of product management experience, with familiarity in agile practices and working with government stakeholders. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant product management experience.
• 5+ years delivering digital products across the product lifecycle.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, research, delivery, and other technical or business disciplines.
• Experience applying agile product development methods in a delivery environment.
• Experience developing, prioritizing, and maintaining product backlogs, roadmaps, requirements, user stories, or similar artifacts.
• Experience translating business objectives, stakeholder needs, and user needs into actionable product requirements and priorities.
• Experience facilitating conversations and building alignment among stakeholders with differing priorities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the level of government suitability or security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Shape product strategy and prioritize outcomes with clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams.
• Own and maintain product backlogs and roadmaps.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Translate organizational goals and user needs into actionable product strategies and priorities.
• Define product requirements and acceptance criteria for iterative delivery.
• Communicate complex technical and business concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Coach and mentor junior team members in the product discipline.
• Develop and maintain product documentation and artifacts (briefs, roadmaps, release plans).
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies for product and delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders to align priorities.
• Contribute to the improvement of PM practices, tools, and processes.
