Job summary

Experian Health is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Payer Connectivity to own how we connect with healthcare payers for claims, eligibility, and authorization. You will set priorities for an engineering team and drive discovery to shape a roadmap across X12 and API connections, routing, and monitoring.

You will leverage customer research, market trends, and payer data to build data-driven business cases and secure investments for new payer connections and data sources.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, owning a product area from start to finish.
• Experience in healthcare IT or revenue cycle management; familiarity with eligibility/claims/remittance transactions preferred.
• Experience guiding an engineering team and owning a product roadmap.
• Experience writing PRDs and using data/AI tools to validate assumptions and set priorities.
• Experience leading customer meetings, roadmaps presentations, and negotiations with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, X12 EDI standards, and clearinghouse landscape.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the direction and roadmap for payer connectivity products (X12 and API).
• Lead priorities, delivery, and quality for engineering teams building eligibility, remittance, and payer connectivity products.
• Use customer research and market data to define requirements and shape the long-term roadmap.
• Build business cases to secure investment for payer connections and data sources.
• Partner with engineering and design leaders to balance trade-offs when adding connections and data sources.
• Meet payers and internal teams to present the roadmap and gather feedback.
