Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Multifamily in Richmond, VA. You will shape the roadmap, drive analytics-enabled features, and collaborate across Engineering, Design, Data Operations, Sales, and Marketing to deliver value for multifamily customers.

You will own the vision, manage MVPs, and ensure data quality and telemetry support for decision-making. This role is office-based in Richmond, Monday–Friday, with a focus on cross-functional execution and market impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College.
• 5+ years in product management (or platform/data product roles) delivering B2B software.
• 3+ years of multifamily commercial real estate experience (owner/operator, REIT, PMC, lender, brokerage, or vendor).
• Familiarity with product management tools (backlog, road mapping, design/prototyping, analytics/telemetry).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to write PRDs and user stories.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and multi-quarter roadmap for multifamily use cases and workflows.
• Identify whitespace opportunities; define MVP, scale path, and outcomes for new capabilities.
• Run continuous discovery with onsite teams and translate insights into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate to integrate more multifamily data and present it through analytics and workflows.
• Drive agile execution: backlog, sprint goals, cross-team dependencies, and release planning.
