Binance is seeking a senior product architect to own the margin financing and securities lending platform within the core trading infrastructure. You will set the roadmap, own architecture for clearing and settlement, and guide engineering from planning to release.

You will collaborate with trading engineers to translate complex financing needs into scalable solutions, monitor settlement integrity, and ensure regulatory compliance while leading end-to-end feature launches.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of margin financing and securities lending mechanics.
• Experience owning architecture of clearing/settlement or margin systems.
• Technical/quantitative background in CS, financial engineering or math.
• Ability to translate trading and settlement logic into product requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Product experience not required if you have systems-level work.
• Mandarin proficiency preferred for coordinating with global teams.

Responsabilités

• Set the product direction and roadmap for margin financing & securities lending and clearing & settlement systems within the core trading infrastructure.
• Own the architecture design of clearing and settlement systems — trade clearing, position and balance settlement, multilateral netting, fee and interest settlement, and reconciliation.
• Improve core margin systems including collateral valuation, cross/isolated margin logic, interest accrual, borrow/lend flows, and liquidation handling.
• Work with the trading engineering teams to turn complex financing and settlement needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead the full product lifecycle from planning to release and ongoing/new feature launch.
• Monitor system performance, settlement integrity, and reconciliation accuracy; identify and resolve issues before they impact users.
• Ensure systems comply with standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of margin financing / securities lending mechanics and clearing & settlement flows (netting, reconciliation, collateral management, interest accrual).
• Experience designing or owning the architecture of clearing/settlement or margin systems, in either TradFi or crypto.
• Technical or quantitative background (e.g., CS, Financial Engineering, Math).
• Ability to understand trading logics, risk methods, and settlement flows, and translate them into product requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Product experience is not a must as long as you’re interested in the job and you have past experience working on systems level tasks.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to coordinate with global stakeholders and overseas partners.
