Job summary

McKinsey & Company in North America is seeking an experienced Product Leader to own strategy, execution, and delivery of AI-enabled analytics products within the Life Sciences practice. You will collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and domain experts to shape roadmaps and deliver user-centered solutions for pharma and medical technology clients.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related degree.
• 7+ years of experience solving complex problems from ideation to post-launch.
• Experience building enterprise products adopted by enterprise users.
• Experience with AI products, agentic AI solutions, Life Sciences or Commercial domain a plus.
• Ability to partner with engineering to shape requirements and release readiness.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, specs-driven development, agentic PDLC, testing and CI.
• Experience with user discovery, competitive analysis, and value proposition shaping.
• Roadmaps, storyboards, wireframes, backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria.
• Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills in ambiguous situations.
• Excellent analytical skills and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, execution, and delivery of one or more products in the asset portfolio.
• Shape product strategy, define roadmaps, interview end users, and guide teams to deliver user-centered analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and engineers to ensure product success.
• Lead user discovery sessions to align development with user needs and manage dependencies.
• Negotiate with stakeholders to maximize value within budgets and timelines.
• Lead the creation of innovative analytics and agentic capabilities for clients.
