Job summary

McKinsey & Company in North America’s Life Sciences practice is hiring a high-impact Product Leader to own strategy, execution, and delivery of analytics-driven products. You will partner with AI engineers and data scientists, shape roadmaps, interview users, and guide cross-functional teams to launch meaningful, user-centered solutions.

You will collaborate with domain experts to define MVP functionality, address delivery barriers, and drive adoption in pharma and medtech contexts.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related field.
7+ years of relevant experience delivering end-to-end product and technology development.
Experience building enterprise-facing products adopted by enterprise users.
Experience building AI products with exposure to Agentic AI solutions and AI-enabled ecosystems; Life Sciences or Commercial domain a plus.
Ability to partner with engineering to shape requirements and manage technical debt.
Knowledge of DevSecOps, specs-driven development, agentic PDLC and CI practices.
Experience leading complex problem and user discovery, competitive analysis, and defining product value proposition.
Proficient with roadmaps, storyboards, wireframes, backlogs, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Proficient in stakeholder management and presenting to leadership in ambiguous situations.
Excellent analytical skills and data-driven approach to user feedback and analytics.
Willingness to travel and co-locate as needed.
Strong communication skills across audiences.

Responsibilities

Own the strategy, execution, and delivery of one or more products in the asset portfolio.
Shape product strategy and define roadmaps; interview end users; guide teams in delivering analytics and agentic solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product success and deliver high-quality analytics.
Lead user discovery sessions to build empathy and align development with user needs.
Identify and address delivery barriers, manage dependencies, and negotiate with stakeholders to maximize value.
Lead creation of innovative advanced analytics and agentic capabilities that deliver value to clients.
