Job summary

McKinsey & Company in the United States (NJ) seeks a senior product leader to own strategy, roadmap, and delivery for asset-based analytics products. You will guide cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and designers to launch user-centric AI capabilities that address client needs.

You will partner with leaders to shape the product value proposition, interview users, and prioritize features, while navigating timelines and budgets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related degree.
• 7+ years of end-to-end product/technology development experience.
• Experience building enterprise-facing products adopted by enterprise users.
• Prior experience building AI products with exposure to Agentic AI solutions; Life Sciences/Commercial domain a plus.
• Ability to partner with engineering to shape requirements and ensure release readiness.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, specs-driven development, PDLC, testing and CI practices.
• Experience running user discovery, competitive analysis, and shaping a product's value proposition.
• Proficient with roadmaps, storyboards, wireframes, backlogs, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Proficient in stakeholder management, presentations, and leadership in ambiguity.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Willingness to travel and co-locate as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication, adaptable to various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, execution, and delivery of one or more products in the asset portfolio.
• Shape product strategy, define roadmaps, interview end users, and guide teams to deliver analytics and agentic solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI engineers, data scientists, data engineers) to ensure product success.
• Lead user discovery sessions to align development with user needs and maximize value.
• Identify delivery barriers, manage dependencies, and negotiate with stakeholders to meet timelines and budgets.
• Lead creation of innovative analytics and capabilities delivering client value.
• Help McKinsey shift toward asset-based consulting through analytics, design thinking, and emerging tech.
