Job summary

Itron, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy, definition, and execution for the IEOS Data Platform, including governed data products and data sharing.

You will collaborate across Engineering, Customer Success, Delivery, and Sales to shape solutions for utilities and energy customers, translating needs into measurable outcomes while prioritizing security, scalability, and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of product management experience in enterprise software environments.
• Ability translate customer needs into product requirements and measurable outcomes.
• Experience with cloud platforms, data architectures, APIs, analytics solutions, and governance.
• Develop and execute roadmaps delivering customer and business value.
• Strong communication skills for technical, commercial, and executive audiences.
• Data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy, vision, and roadmap for IEOS Data Platform and Data Lake.
• Develop governed data products and data-sharing offerings.
• Translate customer challenges into product opportunities and requirements.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements, including security and compliance.
• Lead packaging of IEOS data products for analytics environments (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Establish AI governance, explainability, and secure access patterns.
• Collaborate with engineering on feasibility and platform strategy.
• Improve onboarding, adoption, and support for IEOS data-sharing solutions.
• Support customer-facing activities like workshops and RFP/RFI responses.
• Advocate for customer outcomes and accountable product decisions.
