Job summary

Principal Financial Group is seeking a Sr. Product Manager I to lead and evolve the enterprise digital experience, optimizing customer and employer journeys at scale.

You will coach product managers and partner closely with UX and technology in an Agile environment, guiding strategy, discovery, and delivery to drive value across the product family. You will collaborate with business, technology, and UX teams, communicating strategy and outcomes with clarity, and continue to strengthen product

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in business, technology, or product management or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in a highly collaborative, fast-paced product environment.
• Proven success establishing product strategy across multiple products and aligning to enterprise priorities.
• Strong background in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience using data and insights to drive decisions and communicate outcomes with clarity.
• Ability to coach others on modern product discovery and delivery practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence business partners.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the product strategy for a portion of the enterprise digital experience.
• Guide product discovery to inform decision-making and collaborative solutioning.
• Be accountable for successful delivery across the product family with engineering and UX in Agile.
• Maintain insight into product health, outcomes, and investment effectiveness via data storytelling.
• Proactively communicate strategy, priorities, and outcomes to drive alignment and value.
• Lead, coach, and develop Product Managers while balancing hands-on leadership with people management.
