Job description

Have you ever had that green-light feeling? When you hit every green light and the day just feels like magic. CLEAR's mission is to create frictionless experiences where every day has that feeling. With more than 30+ million passionate members and hundreds of partners around the world, CLEAR’s identity platform is transforming the way people live, work, and travel. Whether it’s at the airport, stadium, or right on your phone, CLEAR connects you to the things that make you, you - unlocking easier, more secure, and more seamless experiences - making them all feel like magic.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to establish the product strategy and execution within our Healthcare vertical. In this role, you will be responsible for extending the functionality of CLEAR’s Identity platform into the Healthcare and other verticals through integrations, addressing product gaps, and broadening its surface area to adjacent areas.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging data and customer insights to identify opportunities to own the product roadmap and ensure tight alignment with respect to vision, strategy, priorities and outcomes. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of health systems and a passion for improving the member experience.

What you'll do:

  • Define CLEAR’s Healthcare product strategy and roadmap, focusing on integration opportunities, working backward from the member and partner experience, and ensuring compliance with healthcare-specific standards like HIPA
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Member Care, Security, and Legal to drive a shared vision and accelerate product development
  • Conduct user research and gather feedback to identify pain points and opportunities to improve the member experience
  • Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to optimize the user journey
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product development

How you'll measure success:

  • Drive continuous improvement using data and information from teams to identify issues and ways to improve
  • Own roadmap prioritization based on customer need, risk impact, and strategic demands
  • Demonstrate leadership by mentoring colleagues, influencing internal stakeholders, and providing thought partnership

What you're great at:

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a focus on health systems and technical integrations
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare systems and concepts such as PHI, HIPAA, EMRs, interoperability standards, identity verification, and secure data exchanges
  • Keen ability to tell stories using data with experience using analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Looker, Heap) to assess performance
  • Deep understanding of member pain points with an ability to craft compelling value propositions
  • Strong critical thinking skills with a proven track record of identifying and addressing root causes of friction
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Thrives working in a fast-paced, iterative environment with the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficiency in understanding system architecture diagrams, identity standards like IAL2, and security best practices for sensitive healthcare data
  • Living and Imparting CLEAR’s Core Values: Be Indefatigable, a Bias for Action, Embrace Change, Obsessed with the Customer Experience, Speak Up, Our Great People, Own It

How You'll be Rewarded:

At CLEAR, we help YOU move forward - because when you’re at your best, we’re at our best. You’ll work with talented team members motivated by our mission of making experiences safer and easier. Our offices are bright and energetic with an open concept and plenty of conference rooms and casual co-working spaces. We also offer catered lunches every day and have fully stocked kitchens. Outside of the office, we invest in your well-being and learning & development with stipends and reimbursement programs.

We offer holistic total rewards, including comprehensive healthcare plans, family-building benefits (fertility and adoption/surrogacy support), flexible time off, annual wellness stipend, free OneMedical memberships for you and your dependents, a CLEAR Plus membership, and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.
