Job description

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to establish the product strategy and execution within our Healthcare vertical. In this role, you will be responsible for extending the functionality of CLEAR’s Identity platform into the Healthcare and other verticals through integrations, addressing product gaps, and broadening its surface area to adjacent areas.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging data and customer insights to identify opportunities to own the product roadmap and ensure tight alignment with respect to vision, strategy, priorities, and outcomes. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of health systems and a passion for improving the member experience.

What you'll do:
  1. Define CLEAR’s Healthcare product strategy and roadmap, focusing on integration opportunities, working backward from the member and partner experience, and ensuring compliance with healthcare-specific standards like HIPAA.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Member Care, Security, and Legal to drive a shared vision and accelerate product development.
  3. Conduct user research and gather feedback to identify pain points and opportunities to improve the member experience.
  4. Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to optimize the user journey.
  5. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product development.
How you'll measure success:
  • Drive continuous improvement using data and information from teams to identify issues and ways to improve.
  • Own roadmap prioritization based on customer need, risk impact, and strategic demands.
  • Demonstrate leadership by mentoring colleagues, influencing internal stakeholders, and providing thought partnership.
What you're great at:
  • 5+ years of product management experience with a focus on health systems and technical integrations.
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare systems and concepts such as PHI, HIPAA, EMRs, interoperability standards, identity verification, and secure data exchanges.
  • Keen ability to tell stories using data with experience using analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Looker, Heap) to assess performance.
  • Deep understanding of member pain points with an ability to craft compelling value propositions.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with a proven track record of identifying and addressing root causes of friction.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Thrives working in a fast-paced, iterative environment with the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in understanding system architecture diagrams, identity standards like IAL2, and security best practices for sensitive healthcare data.

The base salary range for this role is $175,000-$215,000, depending on levels of skills and experience.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of CLEAR’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR’s total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commissions, Restricted Stock Units.
