Job summary

Formlabs in Somerville, MA seeks a Senior Product Manager for hardware to define and drive new hardware products from concept to launch. You will determine features, user experience, and requirements, working closely with engineering to deliver high-impact products that meet customer needs and business goals.

You will lead cross-functional teams, refine product roadmaps, and shape go-to-market strategies while monitoring feedback and market trends.

Qualifications

• Experience defining requirements for hardware products and translating them into actionable specs.
• Ability to prioritize features and maintain a clear product roadmap.
• Strong cross-team collaboration and written/oral communication skills.
• Experience shipping software-enabled hardware products is a plus.
• Familiarity with manufacturing, regulatory, or life sciences standards is beneficial.

They are the subject matter experts on our customers, applications, and business. This role involves defining the requirements for new products in the Formlabs portfolio, determining key features and user experience, and overseeing the product through development all the way to shipping.**Hear from SLS Leader Matt Ewertowski on what it’s like to build products at Formlabs in this video!****What You’ll Do:*** Identify immediate and/or upcoming user needs, then work with the team to develop product requirements and a product roadmap that addresses them.* Prioritize features and tasks for the product using internal tools, tracking and reviewing the product direction and current work frequently.* Write clear, crisp, detailed product specifications.* Manage collaboration and communication with other teams, both internal and external, to ensure teams have what they need and can work efficiently.* Help guide the go to market and maintenance plans through product launch and beyond.* Monitor feedback, support, and analytics. Plan changes to make improvements.* Develop a deep understanding of our customers, business, competitors, and technology.* Work with the product and engineering leadership teams to create a coherent product strategy and vision for your product lines and connect that to our wider business strategy.* Identify new areas of opportunity for Formlabs that are adjacent to what we are doing today. The base pay will be determined by your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and expected impact on the organization.The annual base pay range for this role is:$150,000—$200,000 USD
