Job summary

Planet is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the Analysis Ready Data (ARD) product suite, including Mosaics, ARPS, and Fusion. You will collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and customer success to plan requirements, track delivery, and launch products that meet real customer needs.

In this role, you will shape product strategy for the Imagery and Platform groups, build domain expertise in satellite imagery and geospatial analytics, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product management or related role.
• Experience with software development concepts and collaborating with engineering teams.
• Ability to align decisions with roadmap and values.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Document product requirements and assist with sprint planning with engineering teams.
• Build and maintain product metric dashboards with the data team.
• Support early-access programs to validate product-market fit.
• Partner with pre-sales to ensure product-customer fit.
• Prototype customer-facing AI-enabled solutions to demonstrate value.
• Engage in customer meetings as product expert and evangelist.
• Synthesize feedback into clear use cases and requirements.
• Collaborate with internal Solution builders to transition to a solutions-oriented company.
