Job summary

Planet seeks a Senior Product Manager for Analysis Ready Data (ARD) who will guide the ARD suite, including Mosaics, ARPS, and Fusion, from requirements through launch for enterprise customers. You will partner with engineering, design, and sales to deliver data products that enable decision-making in geospatial analytics.

Role involves collaborating across imaging and platform groups, leading with a strong product craft, and influencing through collaboration and leadership by influence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of product management or related roles.
• Experience with software development concepts and engineering collaboration.
• Ability to align decisions with the product roadmap and company values.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Document requirements and synthesize customer feedback to support sprint planning.
• Build and maintain product metric dashboards (time-to-activation, retention).
• Support early-access programs to validate product-market fit with customers.
• Partner with pre-sales as a product expert to ensure product-customer fit for direct-to-consumer sales.
• Prototype customer-facing solutions using AI tools to demonstrate ARD value.
• Join customer meetings as a product evangelist for ARD offerings.
