Job summary

Planet Labs PBC in the United States seeks a Senior Product Manager to drive development and go-to-market of the Analysis Ready Data (ARD) suite, including Mosaics, ARPS, and Fusion. You will work with engineering, design, sales, and customer success to plan requirements, track delivery, and launch products that meet customer needs.

This role sits at the intersection of complex geospatial products and demanding customers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in product management or related roles.
• Comfort with software development concepts and collaboration with engineering teams.
• Ability to make decisions aligned with roadmap and company values.

Responsibilities

• Document product requirements and synthesize customer feedback alongside engineering teams.
• Build and maintain product metric dashboards including time-to-activation and retention.
• Support early-access programs to validate product-market fit with real customers.
• Partner with pre-sales as a product expert to ensure optimal product-customer fit for direct-to-consumer sales.
• Prototype customer-facing solutions using AI tools to demonstrate ARD value.
• Join customer meetings as product expert and evangelist for ARD offerings.
• Synthesize customer and sales input into clear use cases and requirements.
• Collaborate with internal Solution builders to transition Planet to a solutions-oriented company.
• Contribute foundational data products for AI-native solutions.
