Job summary

Upgrade is seeking a Senior Product Manager for its Flex Pay vertical in San Francisco. You will own initiatives to deepen merchant integrations and enhance partner and customer experiences in a fast-growing BNPL business.

You will collaborate with design, engineering, marketing and external partners in a hybrid role with on-site Tuesdays and Thursdays. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product management, strong API/integration, web analytics and SQL skills, plus familiarity with AI tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience delivering high-quality outcomes and user value.
• Expertise with complex third-party APIs, integration, web analytics, A/B testing, and SQL.
• Experience delivering consumer-facing platforms in fintech; travel experience is a plus but not required.
• Proven ability to lead teams and align stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI coding and productivity tools (e.g., Claude or Gemini) for analysis and spec building.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development for Upgrade's Flex Pay by enhancing partner satisfaction and customer experience.
• Expand and deepen Flex Pay integrations with merchant partners and intermediaries.
• Own complex initiatives from inception to ongoing optimization of features and UX.
• Develop trusted partnerships with Engineering and external partners to inform product planning.
• Independently drive new roadmap items with strategic oversight.
