Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Digital Channels to oversee the full lifecycle of the banking product suite. You will help define the product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with partners, and lead a team of product analysts through concept, development, and ongoing optimization.

You'll conduct market research, develop reports for stakeholders, and recommend pricing strategies to drive revenue growth while maintaining healthy margins.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience in Product Management, Treasury Management Sales or similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Previous leadership experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of general financial services or banking products.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules, regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Advanced knowledge of banking products, including treasury management, credit cards, and pricing dynamics; market-specific awareness.
• Advanced experience with Product Management Methodology including new product launches, road mapping, business cases, product enhancements, communication and marketing plans, and robust executive management presentations and reporting development.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
• Occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

• As a Senior Product Manager you’ll manage the complete lifecycle of the assigned suite of banking products within the Bank’s commercial product portfolio.
• Assist with developing and executing the Bank’s Product strategy and roadmap in conjunction with business partners, and provide hands-on, product-level leadership.
• Lead a team of Product Analysts to perform or coordinate work from concept and business case analysis to development and maintenance.
• Complete market research to monitor trends, develop reports for key stakeholders, and provide recommendations on product suite and pricing strategy.
• Partner with Product Management leadership to execute the Bank’s strategic plan and meet product development objectives.
• Support the product lifecycle process and ensure deliverables meet standards for business case development, business requirements, design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Lead research, analysis, design, development, pricing, and implementation of new products and enhancements to existing products.
• Manage product health and address obstacles, competition, and service delivery issues.
• Assist management in risk control procedures and nurture relationships with senior leaders in partner departments.
• Lead and develop a team; responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, training, and development.
