Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Digital Channels to oversee the full lifecycle of the banking product suite. You will help define the product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with partners, and lead a team of product analysts through concept, development, and ongoing optimization.

You'll conduct market research, develop reports for stakeholders, and recommend pricing strategies to drive revenue growth while maintaining healthy margins.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience in Product Management, Treasury Management Sales or similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Previous leadership experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of general financial services or banking products.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules, regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Advanced knowledge of banking products, including treasury management, credit cards, and pricing dynamics; market-specific awareness.
• Advanced experience with Product Management Methodology including new product launches, road mapping, business cases, product enhancements, communication and marketing plans, and robust executive management presentations and reporting development.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
• Occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Product Manager you’ll manage the complete lifecycle of the assigned suite of banking products within the Bank’s commercial product portfolio. • Partner with the Product Management leadership to execute the Bank’s strategic plan, focusing on developing and operating profitable banking products. Meet product development objectives, manage product health, and respond to market dynamics.
• Support the product lifecycle process and ensure deliverables meet the department’s standards for business case development, business requirement gathering, product design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Lead the research, analysis, design, development, pricing, and implementation of new products, as well as modifications and enhancements to existing products.
• Ensure the product suite’s success by managing product health and effectiveness, proactively addressing obstacles to product development, product adoption, deteriorating performance, competitive analysis, and service delivery complications.
• Assist management in identifying, assessing, and implementing risk control procedures for assigned products and channels.
• Foster strong, healthy working relationships with senior leaders in partner departments (including Lending, Credit Administration, Risk Management/Compliance, IT, and other internal support departments), and facilitate the team’s contribution to and compliance with technical processes and requirements, risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer service.
