Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the technical development of in-house multi-node server system products and define data center technologies. You will create proofs of concepts and technical feature papers for industry events, while serving as a subject matter expert on design, quality, production, and on-site issue management.

You will work with product managers, system engineers and production teams to guide the product lifecycle and address system-level challenges,

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in EE, CE, CS or ME is required.
• Strong knowledge of OCP V3 rack architecture and server product development is preferred.
• Experience with server architecture, PCIe/SATA/SAS and OS applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage product life cycle from design to EOL with production support.
• Coordinate with rack PM, production, and sales for project-based orders and issue management.
• Apply component knowledge to develop embedded system products and solutions.
• Research new technologies and propose Proofs of Concept.
• Collaborate with rack/sales/FAE to provide optimal technical solutions.
