Job summary

IP Infusion is seeking a Senior Product Manager in San Jose, CA to lead data center product marketing strategy, drive new business, and collaborate with Sales, Systems Engineers, and R&D. You will shape product features, develop roadmaps, and craft campaigns to grow market share for a disaggregated networking model.

The role requires extensive experience in networking, data center technologies, and strong cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Product Manager with a network equipment manufacturer.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing and Switching Protocols.
• Quantitative skills with forecasting and pricing analysis.
• Interest in networking and Data Center technologies (Spine/Leaf, DC Interconnect, EVPN, VXLAN, Cloud).
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication with presentation abilities.
• Strong people skills to partner across levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks toward long-term goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate campaigns with outbound Product Marketing including media, launch materials, and sales training.

With the OcNOS™ network operating system, IP Infusion offers a single, unified physical and virtual software solution (based on software defined networking and network functions virtualization principles), to deploy new services quickly at reduced cost and with greater flexibility.

Job Description:

• Develop strategic marketing plans for our Data Center product line through market research, competitive analysis, pricing, customer engagement, and business planning.
• Drive new business and opportunities for the business unit and technology group.
• Work with Technical Product Line Manager to develop product features and functionality in partnership with Sales and Systems Engineers.
• Provide customer use-case examples to Technical Product Line Manager and act as the primary liaison for customer feedback and requirements between Sales and R&D. Drive resolution of customer support issues working with IP Infusion’s Technical Assistance Center. Handle issues associated with the ordering of product, systems and tools, and manufacturing supply working with Marketing and Business Development.
• Forecast and help drive opportunities for product lines with annual revenues from $10 Million. Identify areas for growth and craft strategic product line roadmaps to help drive adoption of the product and differentiating features.
• Work in close coordination with outbound Product Marketing in developing and driving results-oriented campaigns across various markets to ensure IP Infusion's market share and profitability including media releases, launch materials, customer presentations, videos, podcasts, and sales training materials.

Additional Responsibilities:

TheSenior Product Managerwill work as part of a global team interfacing with Product Marketing and Sales. Collaborate with IP Infusion Channel Partners, and Customers and represent IP Infusion in trade shows, webinars, information sessions, and industry forums.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Product Manager with a network equipment manufacturer.
• Should have a good background or knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing and Switching Protocols.
• Quantitative Skills with prior experience in Forecasting, Pricing Analysis.
• Self-motivated and highly visionary individual with a keen interest in the networking and Data Center industry and technologies (Spine/Leaf, Data Center Interconnect, EVPN, VxLAN, Cloud).
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication along with matching presentation abilities, adept business knowledge with interpersonal skills rounding out the portfolio.
• Strong people skills allow you to easily partner with people at all levels.
• Possess the ability to handle multiple tasks and work towards long-term goals.

Compensation Information:

• Please note that the offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, experience, qualifications, the external labor market, and internal equity. Variable incentives may also be offered. The Salary range for this role is $180,000 -$240,000/ annual salary. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate.
