Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Manager – Technical (PMT) for the Aurora Distributed SQL organization in Seattle, WA.

This role focuses on accelerating product engineering and business growth by shaping strategy and leading roadmap priorities. The successful candidate will own the product lifecycle from conception through market delivery, collaborating with software engineers and senior business partners across marketing, finance, and sales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product management experience with internet business.
• 3+ years in technical roles (software, network, IT).
• Experience taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market.
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products end-to-end.
• 3+ years of database experience (SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) or degree in advanced technology.

Responsibilities

• Your primary responsibility as a Senior PMT is to help accelerate the product engineering and business growth of Amazon Aurora DSQL.
• Shape and lead product strategy – turning insights and customer feedback into plans that accelerate delivery and delight customers.
• Own roadmap prioritization and contribute to feature development by voicing the customer throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams and interact with senior partners across marketing, finance, and sales.
