Job summary

Baltic Amadeus is seeking a Senior Product Manager – Payments & Acquiring to own and shape the Card Acquiring proposition across card-present and e-commerce payments, driving product growth, innovation, and commercial performance.

You will own strategy for Card-Present and e-commerce acquiring, lead development and scaling, monitor market trends, and drive profitability while coordinating with processors, schemes, and external partners.

Qualifications

• >5+ years in Product Management, payments/fintech/financial services.
• >Proven experience launching or scaling Card-Present acquiring / POS and e-commerce acquiring.
• >Strong understanding of CP/CNP acquiring, payment processing, settlement, and card ecosystem.
• >Experience with payment processors, POS vendors, gateways, acquirers, or card schemes.
• >Strong understanding of acquiring economics (pricing, interchange, costs, profitability).
• >Experience with Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Apple Pay, Google Pay.
• >Knowledge of regulations for payment and acquiring products.
• >Strong analytical, commercial and strategic mindset; data-driven decisions.
• >Excellent communication and leadership; ability to influence stakeholders.
• >Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• >Nice to have: Open Banking / A2A payments; SQL/databases; SDLC; Jira/Confluence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the product strategy for Card-Present and e-commerce acquiring.
• Lead development and scaling of POS and e-commerce acquiring propositions.
• Monitor market trends, analyze customer needs, identify opportunities, respond to competitors.
• Own product and feature planning, development, testing, launch, and optimization.
• Drive acquiring economics and commercial performance, including pricing, interchange, fees, processor costs, profitability.
• Lead cross-functional teams; challenge technical solutions; represent product with external partners.
• Establish scalable business processes and ensure smooth handover to responsible teams.
