Job summary

Partner Company in the United States seeks a Senior Product Manager (Card Issuing) to lead a major migration of live card programs between issuing platforms. You will own the product workstream end-to-end, documenting current-state configurations and defining the target operating model and roadmap.

The role requires deep card issuing expertise, BIN sponsorship, scheme rules, and cardholder lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management with card issuing/payments experience.
• Deep knowledge of card issuing, BINs, schemes, and cardholder lifecycle.
• Experience with live-program migrations involving card programs.
• Understanding of authorization, clearing, and settlement in issuing.
• Familiarity with Visa/Mastercard rules and certifications.
• Knowledge of tokens, wallets, and card-on-file implications.
• Regulatory/compliance: PCI DSS, SCA/PSD2, local rules.
• Strong technical fluency and collaboration with architects/engineers.
• Proven prioritization, trade-off decisions, and stakeholder management.
• Experience with senior client stakeholders and risk management.
• AIs/LLMs in product workflows with prudent validation.
• Ability to work across international teams and time zones.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the product workstream migrating card programs between platforms.
• Document current/state configurations and define target-state specs.
• Lead capability gap analysis and determine replication or redesign needs.
• Coordinate with BIN sponsors, schemes, processors on approvals.
• Define migration strategy: phases, sequencing, reissuance, and tokens.
• Own cardholder impact, communications, and continuity plans.
• Define data migration needs, reconciliation, and data quality criteria.
• Maintain a prioritized backlog with clear acceptance criteria.
• Assess feasibility with architects/engineers and plan cutover.
• Ensure regulatory, security, and scheme compliance post-migration.
• Communicate progress and risks to executives; manage post-migration monitoring.
• Leverage AI/LLMs responsibly to accelerate drafting and mapping.
