Job summary

Amazon in Bellevue, WA seeks a Senior Product Manager, Technical to own the operator console powering our next-generation fulfillment buildings. This role is deeply technical, partnering with software and systems teams to push for faster, cheaper, and more capable solutions that scale.

You will guide multi-quarter roadmaps, assess architecture trade-offs, and align cross-organizational priorities into a single product voice, shaping the problem space and success criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
• Experience managing technical products or online services.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy, vision, and multi-quarter roadmap for how our equipment shows up in the console, and push it up the arc from monitoring toward autonomous resolution.
• Engage engineering and science leaders as a technical peer: challenge complexity estimates, weigh architecture trade-offs on their merits, and define acceptance criteria for software that runs a live building for years.
• Be the single product voice for our organization across the partner teams that co-build the console, earning alignment through shared interest rather than escalation and reconciling competing priorities into one experience.
• Own the business value case for your product, cost to run versus operational value delivered, and make build, extend, or partner calls with clear justification.
• Run customer research in live fulfillment buildings, manage deployment readiness with Operations, sequence inbound demand against committed launches, and own the post-launch health of what you ship against adoption, reliability, cost avoided, and customer satisfaction.
