Job summary

Amazon in Bellevue, WA seeks a Senior Product Manager, Technical to own an end-to-end product in our industrial automation portfolio. You will define strategy, vision, and a multi-quarter roadmap, working directly with software and science managers to make prioritization decisions and deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will lead cross-functional alignment, define acceptance criteria, and guide deployment from discovery to post-launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy.
• Experience managing technical products or online services.
• Experience representing stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
• Ability to bridge technical and business teams to collect requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Experience in operational environments developing, prototyping, piloting and launching analytic products.
• Experience driving adoption of new tools.
• Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product strategy, vision, and multi-quarter roadmap for your product area.
• Work backwards from customer needs to identify problems and the sequence to solve them.
• Own business value framing: cost-to-run, adoption trajectory, reliability targets.
• Make build/buy/partner decisions with clear business justification.
• Lead the product from problem discovery through deployment and sustained performance.
• Engage engineering leaders to present requirements and co-own technical direction.
• Influence architecture decisions with data-driven evidence.
• Evaluate build vs extend vs partner options for capabilities.
• Define acceptance criteria that engineering delivers against.
• Conduct customer research and translate pain into prioritized engineering work.
