Job summary

BetaNXT is seeking a Senior Specialist, Product Management to lead the Alternative Investments product line. The role requires defining capabilities, conducting business and technical analysis, and delivering functional requirements for scaled back-office solutions.

You’ll partner with engineering and clients in an Agile environment to translate complex workflows into robust software while advancing product strategy.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience with alternative investments for broker-dealers, custodians, or wealth managers; mutual funds accepted.
• Extensive knowledge of retail alternative investments and workflows including the ecosystem like DTCC AIP, InvestCloud Private Markets Network, CAIS, SS&C AltServ.
• Solid understanding of product lifecycle management and agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to work independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint), Jira, Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor evolving needs in the alternative investment space to identify opportunities for current and future products.
• Define product vision and contribute to BetaNXT Alternative Investments roadmap; support system development and remediation initiatives.
• Design and document product solutions, including BRDs, use cases, workflows, and gap analyses.
• Develop deep expertise in retail alternative investments and integration partners.
• Work with development teams in an agile environment to drive high-quality, iterative delivery of features to production.
• Drive business testing and validation of use cases; support QA through to product releases.
• Build and maintain client relationships; manage client change requests; support Client Services on complex issues.
• Assist in product feature definition for sales and marketing; track milestones with PMO.
