Job summary

Gusto, Inc. is seeking an experienced product manager to own the development of new payroll tax products from discovery to delivery. This 0 to 1 focus role will have broad autonomy to lead strategy and execution for new offerings, delivering durable revenue growth and retention.

You will work with a new product development engineering team, focusing on AI-powered solutions that redefine the market and drive customer value with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience, incl 3+ years of 0 to 1 product delivery.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and build in regulated categories.
• Experience delivering AI-powered, personalized workflows with Gen AI/ML.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the development of new payroll tax products from discovery to delivery.
• Lead strategic direction, market positioning, and roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, CX, Marketing, Sales, Ops.
• Accelerate execution by clarifying requirements and building momentum.
