Job summary

Gusto in Scottsdale is seeking an experienced product manager to own the development of new payroll tax business lines from 0 to 1. You’ll lead discovery, strategy, and execution for new products with broad autonomy and a focus on AI-powered solutions that drive revenue growth.

You’ll work directly with a product development engineering team to deliver durable customer value, blending execution with ownership to achieve market success in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on product management experience, with 3+ years of success building 0 to 1 products.
• Deep product discovery skills with the ability to navigate a high degree of ambiguity.
• Experience building personalized products or optimized workflows using Gen AI/ ML.
• Entrepreneurial, cross-functional collaborator and leader.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term strategy and translate it into actionable guidance for company-wide planning.
• Identify highest-leverage investments to unlock long-term success and market-winning payroll tax offerings.
• Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, CX, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to build alignment.
• Accelerate execution by clarifying requirements and driving strategic initiatives to completion.
