Docker is seeking a Product Manager, AI Gateway to enable secure model access within sandboxed environments. You will shape the gateway’s direction, balancing developer productivity with governance and cost, partnering with Sandboxes, engineering, design, and customers.

You will own the roadmap, guide model access, and drive reliability and cost-management decisions while ensuring a cohesive developer experience and scalable security controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, building developer tools, infrastructure, security, or platform products.
• Demonstrated success from concept to launch and driving post-release adoption.
• Strong technical background; can evaluate API designs and system architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and agent workflows for secure model access.
• Strong product judgment with data-driven prioritization and measurement.
• Excellent written communication and cross-functional leadership.

Responsabilités

• Own product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the gateway, balancing adoption with enterprise needs.
• Collaborate with developers, AI teams, engineers, and security stakeholders to uncover needs and guide investment.
• Simplify secure onboarding from sandbox launch to agent connection and model selection.
• Partner with engineering and design on APIs, CLI tools, admin experiences, docs, and integrations.
• Evaluate model capabilities with inference providers and plan integrations and cost implications.
• Define identity, access management, credential protection, policy enforcement, and auditability features.
• Lead reliability and cost-management decisions across multiple inference providers.
• Write precise product requirements and coordinate with customer-facing teams on launches.
