Job summary

Docker, a remote-first company, is seeking a Product Manager for the AI Gateway to enable secure model access within sandboxed environments and developer workflows. You will own the gateway's direction, balancing interoperability with governance, reliability, and cost, in a role that partners with Sandboxes, engineering, design, and customers.

You’ll work on APIs, CLI tools, onboarding journeys, and model-provider integrations to deliver an enterprise-ready experience across our remote-first

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience.
• Demonstrated success taking a product from concept to launch.
• Strong technical background with ability to evaluate API designs and system architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and agent workflows.
• Strong product judgment and analytical skills driven by customer research.
• Excellent written communication and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and prioritization for the AI Gateway.
• Define vision, roadmap, and success metrics balancing developer adoption with enterprise needs.
• Understand developers and enterprise customers; validate needs and guide investments.
• Simplify secure onboarding from sandbox to agent connection and model selection.
• Build cohesive developer experience: APIs, CLI, docs, and integrations.
• Shape model access/interoperability with inference providers for capacity and cost.
• Define enterprise safety/governance experiences for IAM, credentials, policy, auditability.
• Drive reliability and cost management: traffic routing, budgeting, spend optimization.
• Lead execution: write PRDs, tradeoffs, and collaborate on launches.
