Job summary

Docker, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager for AI Gateway to define the strategy, roadmap, and governance for secure developer access to AI models.

You will balance security, interoperability, and cost while partnering with Sandboxes, engineering, design, and customers to deliver intuitive workflows—from initial sandbox sessions to organization-wide adoption. You will lead the development of APIs, CLI tools, and documentation, ensuring a cohesive developer experience and scalable governance

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, with developer tools, infrastructure, security, or platform products.
• Proven success taking a product from concept to launch, validating demand and driving adoption.
• Strong technical background with ability to evaluate API designs and system architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and agent workflows, and secure access to models, tools, and data.
• Strong product judgment with data-driven prioritization and measurable results.
• Excellent written communication and cross-functional leadership delivering in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for the AI gateway.
• Engage with developers, AI teams, platform engineers, and security stakeholders to uncover needs.
• Improve onboarding from sandbox launch to agent connection and model selection.
• Collaborate on APIs, CLI tools, admin experiences, docs, and integrations with AI coding tools.
• Shape model access and interoperability with inference providers, ensuring capacity, reliability, and cost.
• Define enterprise safety and governance experiences for identity, access, credentials, and policy enforcement.
• Guide reliability and cost-management decisions across routing and inference providers; manage budgets and spend.
• Drive execution: write PRDs, tradeoffs, and partner with teams on positioning and releases.
