Job summary

Inkitt seeks a Senior Product Manager to own recommendations across Inkitt, Galatea, CandyJar and Ironblood. You will shape experiences users see, partner with Data Science on models, and run high-frequency experimentation to influence reading time, conversions, and renewals.

This role is based in San Francisco, onsite five days a week, with a strong emphasis on consumer-facing product decisions. You will bring 5–12 years of relevant experience, have shipped live recommender or search systems,

Qualifications

• 5–12 years of professional experience.
• Shipped a recommendation, ranking, search or personalization system that real users felt.
• Understands how these systems work underneath: candidate generation, ranking, cold start, feedback loops, popularity bias.
• Can distinguish offline win from business win and show experiment design behind it.
• Advanced SQL and data analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own recommendations and discovery across Inkitt apps – roadmap, experiments and revenue.
• Design experiences the models feed: home, search, onboarding, notifications, cross-app discovery.
• Partner with Data Science on models, signals, and what to predict.
• Design and run recommendation experiments with clear results and accountable losses.
