Position Overview

Vibrant Emotional Health is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Product Manager to join our team. The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for maximizing the value of the product by defining the product vision, managing the product back-log and collaborating with stakeholders and development teams to ensure the product meets business and customer needs. Duties/Responsibilities

Product Vision and Strategy:

  • Define the product roadmap, set clear goals, and communicate the product vision to the development team.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and guide product decisions

User Research And Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Make timely decisions on product features, priorities, and trade-offs to ensure the product meets market needs.
  • Conduct user research to gather insights and inform product development
  • Leverage analytics to track key performance metrics and generate insights for product improvements
  • Implement A/B testing and other data-driven methodologies to optimize product features and user experiences

Backlog Management

  • Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog by adding, refining, and removing items based on business value and customer needs.
  • Transform customer needs into well-defined user stories with acceptance criteria for developers to understand and implement
  • Oversee product launch activities, monitor performance metrics, and implement necessary adjustments based on user feedback.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with the cross-functional core team, funders, and users to gather requirements, understand their needs, and represent their interests to the development team.
  • Lead a cross-functional development team through the Scrum Agile Process for development, including technical design, sprint planning, quality assurance, testing and launch.
  • Gather customer feedback and incorporate it into the product backlog to continuously improve the product.
  • Keep all stakeholders informed about product progress, risks, and challenges through regular updates

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent leadership and team collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, A/B testing, and user experience (UX) research methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for improving emotional health.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on technical products
  • Proven experience with analytics, data-driven decision making, and user research.
  • Strong understanding of A/B testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience in the crisis call space is a major plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Will frequently communicate over video calls with internal and external stakeholders to provide status updates and potential roadblocks.
