Jobbeschreibung

About The Company

Valon is the leading AI platform for mortgage servicing, building the AI-native operating system for regulated finance.

Valon is the leading AI platform for mortgage servicing, building the AI-native operating system for regulated finance. Before providing the system of record that powers the entire industry, we built and ran our own mortgage servicer on it. That gave us a real regulated environment to prove our technology could replace the mainframe systems servicers have used for decades. Carrington acquired that servicer and adopted ValonOS as its core platform, allowing us to focus entirely on scaling our SaaS platform. ValonOS is now on track to power 1 in 6 U.S. mortgages across major mortgage servicers like Newrez, Carrington, and ServiceMac. Every process on the platform is structured and programmable, enabling our AI agents to perform core servicing work, like handling payments, escrow, and homeowner questions, directly within the system's controls. We recently raised a $150 million Series D at a $2.3 billion valuation by new investor Ribbit Capital, with continued support from existing backer a16z, amongst others.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a cohesive product roadmap, prioritize features that deliver measurable business outcomes for our SaaS customers
  • Write clear, comprehensive PRDs and specifications that eliminate ambiguity for engineering
  • Deeply understand customer and user needs across internal servicing teams and external partners (e.g., law firms, vendors) and translate them into clear product requirements
  • Manage timelines and dependencies; make decisive trade-offs between speed, scope, and technical quality
  • Ensure successful rollouts in partnership with Deployment Strategy and Product Operations
Ideal Background
  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Proven track record of shipping complex B2B software products from concept to production
  • Ability to balance near-term business goals while setting a longer-term product strategy
  • Demonstrated leadership to bring together stakeholders and drive alignment
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn the full landscape of mortgage servicing, including areas like foreclosure, bankruptcy, litigation, and REO, in order to make stronger product decisions
  • Strong written communication skills; an effective partner to engineering
  • Comfortable managing multiple initiatives and ensuring their collective success
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and make decisions with incomplete information
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field
